Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me,
bless His holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits.

Pleasures Through Christ

Every morning I receive a daily devotional email.  These devotionals have several verses compiled to make a pleasant message for the reader.  Friday, I received one that reminded me that we have a pleasure that only comes through Christ.

“Abide in Me, because I’ll not let your enemies triumph over you.  Don’t fret when tough times creep into your daily plans, for I’m the hope that lives within you. My kindness and mercies which are everlasting abound for those who walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh. Now hold fast to your confession of faith without wavering, as this brings Me great joy and allows My love to flood your soul.” – John 15:4-5-7; Psalms 25:2; Colossians 1:27; Isaiah 54:10; Hebrews 10:23.

These are just simple words of encouragement for those that are enduring hard times. Always look to the Lord for comfort and pray without ceasing when enduring hardships. I hope that this message has been beneficial and encouraging for you as it was for me to prepare.
