Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me,
bless His holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits.

Yearly Spring and Fall Meetings

It is always great when meeting time rolls around every Spring and Fall.  It's a welcomed time spent together under the sound of God's word that is encouraging to us in a time when the world seems to spiral out of control.  It is an opportunity to see visiting brethren from around our area, hear our guest brethren from other congregations and be assured that God's work is aptly being carried out all around the world.  It's so reassuring to everyone that God is still in control and it gives a peek into how Heaven will be some day when all like-minded brethren can be together.

Meetings are a perfect opportunity for us to learn together and get a concentrated amount of teaching at one time on many different subjects.  This is the benefit for all of us who attend at the local level but it is also an opportunity to invite others to attend and be exposed to God's truth.  What a treasured and valuable opportunity to benefit from our visiting speakers experience and knowledge of the scriptures.

This week Brother Ross will be speaking on dangers that we all face as individuals and as the collective church.  Subjects that we all constantly need to dwell on and consider in light of our spiritual health.  We often see free health fairs sponsored in our community where free health care can be sought and taken advantage of.  This week is our opportunity for a free spiritual health fair in which we can benefit spiritually from God's word.  Thanks to Brother Ross and Sister Bobby for spending this week with us and providing us opportunity to grow and be strengthened against what the physical world has to offer us.  Let's make it a point to attend every day and night that we possibly can and share in the edification that is freely afforded us by our loving God.

Praise to our all powerful God for all he provides and gives us freely.  Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!  Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.  For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods.  In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also.  The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.  Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.  For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Psalm 95:1-7
