Life Is In The Blood

Leviticus 17:11

“for the life of flesh is in the blood. And I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls. For it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul”. The Bible we trust in has a pure blood stream and, just as in the physical, all spiritual life depends up blood, the precious blood of Christ. Hebrews 9:22, “and almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission”. I Peter 1:19, “but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”.

Every part of the human body is said to be alive when the blood stream properly circulates through it. Leviticus 17:11. In a similar manner the life of every believer is in the God inspired, blood circulating, words of the Bible. Hebrews 4:12, “for the word of God is living and powerful”. John 6:63, Jesus said, “the words that I speak, they are Spirit and they are life”. His words are life, spiritual blood that give us life.

God wrote through King Solomon, in Proverbs 4:20-22sd. “incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes. Keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that fine them, and health to all their flesh. Since only blood can sustain human life, there can be no substitute. In like manner there can be no substitute for the Word of God which is the only thing that can give and sustain spiritual life.

Put poison anywhere in the blood stream and the whole becomes poisoned. Just so with the Word of God. When words are added or subtracted, Bible inspiration is destroyed. Duet. 4:2, 12:32. Proverbs 30:6, “add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar”.

When the Scriptures are tampered with, and substitution is made, the Scriptures become a dead thing with neither power to give or sustain life. The Bible God wrote does not speak with “Words which man’s wisdom teacheth”. I Cor. 2:13.Make sure you do not let the blood (Scriptures) become poisoned.
