Would You Go?

When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, peace be unto you. And when he had said this, he showed unto them his hands and his side. The disciples were glad, when they say the Lord. Jesus therefore said unto them again, peace be unto you. As the Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 20:19-21.

The things which ye both learned and received and heard and saw in me, these things do. And the God of peace shall be with you”. Phil. 4:9

But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. II Tim. 3:14.

Be diligent in these things. Give thyself wholly to them. That thy progress may be manifest unto all. Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things. For in doing this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee. I Tim. 4:15, 16.

And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the some commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. II Tim. 2:2.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. And he that is wise winneth souls. Prov. 11:30.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power unto salvation to everyone that believeth. To the Jew first and also to the Greek. Rom. 1:16.

We understand there is salvation other than Christ. There is no other name under heaven that is given among men wherein we must be saved. Acts 4:12. There is a need for the gospel to be preached. Jesus sent the apostles, apostles sent evangelists, and evangelists committed what they taught of faithful men, to teach others.

How many Christians do you know that are actively encouraging their sons or daughters to commit their lives to the gospel? How many Christians do you know that are involved, every day, in preparing themselves for work in the Kingdom. God has a plan that needs to be carried out. Knowing this, the question is, “would you go”.

1.  Would you go, knowing you are despised? I  Tim. 4:12.

2.  Would you go, knowing you will be evil spoken of? III John 10

3.  Would you go, knowing that fear will sometimes come with your labors? Acts 18:9

4.  Would you go, knowing you will subject yourselves, and your family to examination of what you teach? I Cor. 9:3

Titus 3:1 states, “Be ready to every good work”. Ezra set “his heart to seek the law of Jehovah”. What about you?
